GX-100 TWIN
The GX-100 TWIN machines workpieces with a standard turning diameter of 100 mm (max 200 mm) and length up to 140 mm; travel is 360 mm in X and 420 mm in Z, with rapid traverse of 24 m/min.
The spindle has an A2-5 nose, a 54 mm bore and a 165 mm chuck; power is 5.5 / 7.5 kW in the Siemens configuration. At approx. 4,450 kg it is the heaviest model in the GX series.
Compared with the GX-100 JR. TWIN (A2-4 nose, 40 mm bore, 3.7 / 5.5 kW) it has a larger spindle, more power and longer travel on both axes. Compared with the GX-100 SUPER, with the same nose and the same bore, it has a Z travel of 420 mm instead of 200 mm and a max turning diameter of 200 mm instead of 165 mm, with a turning length of 140 mm.
