LX-2500
The LX-2500 is the LX series lathe for workpieces up to 630 mm in diameter and 2,500 mm in length, with a swing over carriage of 400 mm, travel of 325 mm in X and 2,500 mm in Z and rapid traverse of 20 m/min in X and 12 m/min in Z.
The spindle has an A2-8 nose and a 90 mm through bore, with speeds from 50 to 2,500 rpm and power of 11 / 15 (P) kW in the Fanuc configuration.
Compared with the LX-2000, which stops at 2,025 mm with 20 m/min rapid traverse on both axes, it gains turning length but the Z rapid traverse drops to 12 m/min; the LX-3000 reaches 3,000 mm, with a Z rapid traverse of 10 m/min. With the same working area, the LX-2500 SUPER has an A2-11 nose, 110 mm bore and 15 / 18 (P) kW, with a max speed of 1,500 rpm.
