MONO-400
The MONO-400 machines workpieces up to 500 mm in diameter and 525 mm in length, with a swing over carriage of 500 mm, travel of 260 mm in X and 525 mm in Z and rapid traverse of 24 m/min.
The spindle has an A2-11 nose, a 110 mm through bore and a 380 mm three-jaw chuck; power is 15 / 18.5 kW (P) in the Fanuc configuration. The stated weight is approx. 5,500 kg.
Compared with the MONO-300 SUPER (A2-8 nose, 90 mm bore, 305 mm chuck, 550 mm turning length) it is fitted with a larger spindle, with a turning length of 525 mm. For longer workpieces, the MONO-400 XL reaches 800 mm with the same spindle.
