VX-550 SUPER
The VX-550 SUPER has the same working area as the VX-550: workpieces up to 350 mm in diameter and 550 mm in length, swing over carriage of 280 mm, travel of 185 mm in X and 550 mm in Z; rapid traverse is 24 m/min.
The spindle has an A2-8 nose, a 90 mm bore and a 250 mm three-jaw chuck; power is 11 / 15 kW in the Fanuc configuration. Weight is approx. 3,200 kg.
Compared with the VX-550 (A2-6 nose, 63 mm bore, 9 / 12 (P) kW, rapid traverse of 30 m/min) it is fitted with the largest spindle in the VX series, shared with the VX-700 SUPER: to be considered for bars and workpieces to be clamped with a larger diameter. The VX-700 SUPER has the same spindle with a turning length of 700 mm.
